Carlo Ancelotti could take over from Roberto Mancini at Man City
MANCHESTER CITY may opt to replace Roberto Mancini with PSG manager Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season.
Mancini's Manchester City all but surrendered the Premier League title at White Hart Lane yesterday during the 3-1 defeat to Tottenham.
And while the Citizens can salvage their season with FA Cup success against Wigan next month, question marks remain over the future of their Italian tactician.
With Ancelotti heavily expected to leave PSG at the end of current campaign, he could be the potential replacement for Mancini at Eastlands.
Although Ancelotti is widely tipped to take over at Real Madrid if Jose Mourinho is to leave the Bernabeu, he could choose to have another crack at the Premier League after his successful spell at Chelsea.
Reports on the continent suggest that the former AC Milan and Juventus has already been offered €10m (£8.57m) a year to manage City, which would give him some food for thought between picking Manchester over Madrid.
Ancelotti may decide between the Premier League and La Liga in the coming months, if as expected, he leaves PSG before the end of his summer 2014 contract expiry.
