Watford hitman Forestieri chasing down Hull
FERNANDO FORESTIERI has warned Hull not to expect an easy ride in the final weeks of the season after inspiring Watford to a crushing 4-0 win over Blackburn.
Watford are four points behind the second-placed Tigers with two games remaining and striker Forestieri believes they can still make it to the top flight without the added lottery of the play-offs. "As long as we have the opportunity to catch Hull, we will try everything," he said.
Danny Gabbidon still thinks Crystal Palace can recover their form in time to finish in the play-offs after he ended their goal drought.
Palace had gone 482 minutes without scoring before the Welsh defender headed home in the first half against Leicester. It ended 2-2 but Gabbidon expects Palace, who are currently fifth, to finish in the top six.

He said: "We need everyone together for the last few games." Leicester slipped to seventh and midfielder Alex King, who scored his sixth goal of the season at Palace, knows Friday's game against Watford could make or break their season. "If we play well and do our stuff we're better than anyone in this league," he said. "So if we go in using that form and playing well then we know we can do it."
Millwall remain in trouble after a 3-0 defeat at Huddersfield, but goalkeeper David Forde is confident the Londoners will stay up.
"It's in our hands," he said. "We have four games remaining and the rest have two. We should have more than enough to survive."
