Spurs duo Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe in line for Man City return
SPURS duo Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe have given Andre Villas-Boas a further lift today.
Lennon pulled out of the first leg of Spurs' Europa League quarter-final defeat to Basel while Defoe has sat out the last two games with a pelvis complaint.
Spurs are currently in fifth spot, two points behind Arsenal, whom they have a game in hand on.
And Villas-Boas remains upbeat about their chances of playing against the current Premier League champions.
He said: "There has been a good recovery from Defoe so he's trained with the team all week.
"Lennon has been recovering progressively.
"He hasn't trained with the team yet so there is one more training session to go. All of them are in with a chance of making the selection."
