Cruzeiro try to outmanoeuvre Manchester United and Liverpool for Dede
MANCHESTER UNITED and Liverpool are slipping behind in the race to sign rising star Dede.
The Vasco da Gama defender has been on both of their agenda in recent weeks, as they look to tighten up their back lines ahead of the new season.
His future has been the subject of much speculation, with the likes of AC Milan and PSG also keeping an eye on him.
Dede confirmed the news through Brazilian publication Lancenet, saying: "It's concrete, there is an offer from Cruzeiro.
"But I don't know yet if I'll leave Vasco or not.
It is believed Vasco Da Gama had a £3.4m bid for Dede, however they are holding out for about £4m.
Dede has won seven international caps for Brazil.
