Manchester City face stiff competition for Sevilla's Geoffrey Kondogbia
MANCHESTER CITY have a battle on their hands in order to land Geoffrey Kondogbia in the summer.
The Sevilla midfielder has been on City's radar in the past few months, as they look to rebuild ahead of next season.
Kondogbia appears to be one of the hottest properties in Europe, as he is also being chased by Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal.
However, Real Madrid appear ready to put a spanner in the works.
Spanish paper Marca ascertains Kondogbia is being lined up as a potential replacement for Xabi Alonso, who has been linked with an emotional return to Liverpool.
They also note Real are prepared to offer £17m for Kondogbia's services.
The Frenchman has managed only one goal for the La Liga outfit this season.
