Chelsea's game with Spurs re-scheduled
CHELSEA'S pivotal clash with Spurs has been re-scheduled for Wednesday May 8, it has been announced.
The Blues have already played 66 games so far in a gruelling season, however their fixture congestion was eased slightly by the fact they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester City at Wembley on Sunday.
Although Rafa Benitez's men have a chance of claiming European glory in the form of the Europa League, a top-four finish is their main priority.
Spurs will have had the luxury of a 10-day break by the time they entertain Manchester City on Sunday.
Chelsea are level on points with the north London outfit, however they currently have a game in hand.
