Former PSG sports advisor says club have signed Manchester United's Wayne Rooney
FORMER PSG advisor Michael Moulin has said that striker Wayne Rooney has already signed for the Ligue 1 giants.
Rooney's Old Trafford future has been the subject of much speculation, and he has been linked with a £35m move to PSG in the summer.
This stemmed from the fact that Rooney did not start during United's last 16 Champions League exit against Real Madrid last month.
And Moulin is convinced a deal is already in place.
He told French football website sport.fr: "I announce to you from trusted sources: Rooney to PSG is done. PSG will be next season.
This contradicts PSG's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi thoughts on the matter.
He dismissed the rumours and said: "I think we didn't talk honestly, he is a great player, he is one of the best strikers in the world.
"I think everyone would like to have him but if you want to talk about the fact, we didn't approach him."
Rooney has netted 12 goals in the Premier League so far this campaign for United.
