Everton boss David Moyes believes Champions League hopes rest on Arsenal game
EVERTON manager David Moyes believes his side's faint Champions League hopes hinge on beating Arsenal tomorrow evening.
Moyes admitted his side would be 'underdogs' for the game, however is ready for the Toffees to spring an upset.
Everton are in the frame for a Europa League spot after they brushed aside QPR 2-0 at the weekend to leave them just three points behind Spurs, who weren't in action.
Moyes admits that getting into the Champions League would be an excellent achievement and he isn't ready to give up hope on a top-four spot.
Speaking at a news conference ahead of the game, he said: "Pegging Arsenal and Tottenham back will be difficult but the way our players have been playing, you never know.
"We have a lot to lose as we are still in the fight for a European spot."
Arsenal in the meantime are in the box seat for a Champions League spot, as they have won all of their past four league games since being knocked out by Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League last month.
The Gunners could move seven points clear of Spurs, if they beat Everton and Fulham this week.
