Liverpool striker Andy Carroll opens door to West Ham switch
LIVERPOOL striker Andy Carroll is entertaining the prospect of a permanent switch to West Ham in the summer.
Carroll has largely impressed at Upton Park, even though he has spent some time on the treatment table.
His equaliser in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Southampton at St Mary's, who appear to be all but safe in their bid to avoid relegation.
The ex-Newcastle frontman has kept his close cards to his chest about a possible move.
He said: "We will have to wait and see.
"It is obviously a great club and I do not see why not. We'll see what happens at the end of the season.
"It has been great here and every minute has been fantastic.
"The lads have been great, the gaffer has been great and the fans are unbelievable."
Carroll's goal against Saints was his sixth league goal of the campaign.
