Stoke boss Tony Pulis not worried by Asmir Begovic transfer talk
STOKE boss Tony Pulis admits he isn't surprised that Asmir Begovic is being courted by top Premier League clubs.
Begovic has been on United's radar for a while now as there were previously concerns about David De Gea.
He was also on Arsenal's agenda in the past few months, but Arsene Wenger could set his sights further afield, more specifically Hamburg keeper Rene Adler, who could be available for £5m.
Pulis admitted Begovic's growing stature has made him a magnet for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.
"It doesn’t surprise me that there are links with the top clubs," Pulis told The Sun.
“It’s been a great season for him. He can only get better and better.”
Begovic's current focus will be safeguarding Stoke's Premier League status, which took a turn for the worse after their 2-0 defeat to Manchester United yesterday.
