Prove yourself to Nigel Adkins says Jobi McAnuff
JOBI McANUFF admits his Reading team-mates are playing for their futures.
We have a new manager who is going to have his own ideas. We now have to prove to him that we’re worthy of a place
Last Saturday’s home defeat by Southampton left the Royals eight points adrift of safety, but manager Nigel Adkins remains defiant about staying up.
Skipper McAnuff knows the players’ response to the challenge in the remaining six games will determine whether or not they remain at the Madejski Stadium.
“Everybody is playing for his future. We have a new manager who is going to have his own ideas. We now have to prove to him that we’re worthy of a place,” said McAnuff.
