Crystal Palace 0 - Barnsley 0: Shirty work at Palace
BARNSLEY suffered a wardrobe malfunction but still managed to keep themselves out of the Championship basement.
Referee Keith Stroud said both strips the Tykes brought with them clashed with Palace’s home kit.
So the visitors had to wear the home side’s yellow, blue and red away shirts instead.
Barnsley failed to create a single chance while Aaron Wilbraham had the Eagle’s best chance but he shot over the bar.
Palace boss Ian Holloway said: “I’m disappointed for the lads, they’ve had a big ruck in the dressing-room because they wanted to win it.
“I’ve had to go in there and calm them down, because I’ve got players who care. I’ve had a right go at them – you’ve got to stick together.’’
