Bolton Wanderers 2 - Wolverhampton 0: David Ngog savages Wolves
DAVID NGOG'S early strike put Bolton in seventh heaven as the Wanderers joined the play-off shake-up.
The frontman fired Dougie Freedman’s men ahead in the third minute as Bolton grabbed their seventh home win in a row for the first time since 1995.
Left-back Marcos Alonso added a second on 10 minutes and it could have been four by half-time as Wolves’ shambolic display left them lurching back into the drop zone.
Freedman said: “The games are running out to get into the top six but we are pointing in the right direction.”
Wolves boss Dean Saunders said: “We didn’t deserve anything. We gave ourselves too much to do in the first 20 minutes.”
