Brendan Rodgers to weigh up Andy Carroll's Liverpool future at end of season
LIVERPOOL boss Brendan Rodgers says that he hasn't arrived at a decision about Andy Carroll's future.
The forward was loaned out last summer to West Ham in the summer, which proved to hurt Rodgers' side as they were short of cover in that department.
Despite spending time on the treatment table, he has managed to resurrect his career by hitting five goals in the Premier League.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce admitted earlier this week that he is open to the prospect of making Carroll's move a permanent one.
But it seems highly unlikely that any club will be able to afford to match the £35m that Liverpool splashed out on him when they bought him from Newcastle.
Rodgers said: "It's nothing to discuss now.
"We've monitored it very closely. We've had representatives from Liverpool at most of the games.
"It's obviously been a difficult season for Andy because his initial idea was he wanted to go out and play every week, but unfortunately for him he's picked up some injuries since he's been away."
