Spurs' Gareth Bale sidelined for up to two weeks
SPURS talisman Gareth Bale faces being out of action for up to two weeks after spraining his ankle ligaments.
Bale was carried off on a stretcher during Spurs' 2-2 draw in their Europa League quarter-final first leg against FC Basel.
Andre Villas-Boas' initial prognosis was that Bale had rolled his ankle and earmarked the Manchester City game on April 21 as the date when he would be available to return to action.
Bale will miss Everton's visit on Sunday and will be out of the Europa League second leg next week.
A statement on Spurs' official website read: "The results of these scans have indicated that all three players are expected to return to training within two weeks.
"Bale, Gallas and Lennon have all commenced their treatment today and are responding positively."
Bale has been spearheaded Spurs' charge for a top-four finish with 17 goals in the Premier League this season.
