Liverpool forward Fabio Borini's agent rubbishes transfer talk
LIVERPOOL forward Fabio Borini will not leave Anfield in the summer, according to his agent.
The Italian's future has been increasingly uncertain in recent weeks, with rumours circulating that he will return to his homeland.
Although he has failed to justify his £15m move from Roma, Borini's spell at Anfield has been blighted by injury and he was ruled out for the rest of the season earlier this season after dislocating his shoulder.
And Borini's agent Marco De Marchi has confirmed that there is no concrete interest from Fiorentina.
He told Italian football site TMW: "I've heard the Fiorentina rumours, but there has been no direct contact.
"Fiorentina are a club on the launch pad, they have laid the groundwork for an important project by signing great players and results will soon arrive.
"However, Borini has married the Liverpool project and they are one of the most important clubs in the world."
Borini has netted just once in 16 games for Liverpool.
