Chelsea and Liverpool keep check on Croatian prodigy Marko Dabro
CHELSEA and Liverpool are both keeping check on Croatia's latest emerging talent Marko Dabro.
The 16-year-old is wanted by a host of Europe's top clubs including Juventus, Bayern Munich and AS Roma.
Liverpool have a history of promoting academy players to the first team, with the likes of Raheem Sterling and Andre Wisdom being given their opportunities to shine by Brendan Rodgers.
And Dabro has come to the fore for HNK Cibalia, becoming the youngest ever player to appear in the Croatian top flight.
Cibalia's sporting director, Drazen Pernar, told Croatian paper jutarnij.hr: "On the table we have an official offer from Fiorentina, whose delegation was our guest about two months ago and we've visited Florence two or three times.
"Direct contacts are still with Roma, Parma and Juventus, as well as two English clubs in whose camps are actively involved, they are Chelsea and Liverpool.
"Bayern Munich and Manchester City are waiting in line to talk to him too."
