Zlatan Ibrahimovic urges Wayne Rooney to sign for PSG
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC wants Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney to sign for Paris Saint-Germain.
The French giants are weighing up a move for the England striker, who was dropped by Sir Alex Ferguson for United's huge Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
United insist Rooney is not for sale while PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has declared himself a fan of the 27-year-old.
“If he wants to be part of the best project in football then there is only one club to sign for," Ibrahimovic told The Sun.
“Only he knows the decision he is going to make in the summer but the project we are trying to build here is clear.
“We are not content with being the dominant force in France, we want to be the top club in Europe as well.
“I can understand why the owners are interested in Rooney — he is in the top 10 of strikers in Europe.”
PSG are seven points clear at the top of France's League 1.
Unlike United, they are also still in the Champions League after drawing 2-2 with Barcelona in their quarter-final first leg on Tuesday.
