Chelsea don't want to be rushed into decision over Thibaut Courtois
CHELSEA will bide their time before making a decision over whether to recall Thibaut Courtois in the summer.
Courtois' future has been the subject of much debate as Chelsea have been toying over whether to bring him back albeit he has been an ever-present feature of the Atletico Madrid team during his two-year loan spell.
Moreover, Courtois tasted success in his first season at the Vicente Calderon, lifting the Europa League.
And Courtois admits that his future is clouded in uncertainty.
He told Spanish paper AS: "My future is unclear, it's the same as I have said in the past few weeks.
"I was hoping that this week I would find out what will happen, but Chelsea have asked for a bit more time, perhaps because they are going to get a new coach.
"I don't know what will happen but I will have to wait a little longer before I find out."
Courtois signed for Chelsea from Genk in 2011.
