Swansea defender Ben Davies clueless about stopping Spurs star Gareth Bale
BEN DAVIES has no idea how to stop Wales team-mate Gareth Bale when Swansea play Tottenham on Saturday.
Davies was part of the Wales side when Bale scored against Croatia at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday.
Now he is preparing for the job of preventing Bale from adding to the 12 goals he has scored in his last 13 games for club and country.
Davies said: “I’ve got no idea of how I’m going to stop him. You just play your normal game and see what happens.”
Swansea striker Michu, meanwhile, says he wants to end his club career at Real Oviedo.
The striker has been a revelation this season, having scored 19 goals following his bargain £2million move in the summer.
He was born in Oviedo and also helped the Segunda Division side out financially when they encountered problems in the past.
He said: “It would be my dream to go back to Oviedo and retire there because it’s my home and my team. I feel so loved there.”
