Swansea boss Michael Laudrup gets due acknowledgment from his peers
SWANSEA boss Michael Laudrup has been voted as the best manager so far this season in the Barclays Premier League by his peers.
Nearly half of the managers voted for Laudrup, who has taken to Premier League management like a duck to water.
Moreover, he has lifted a piece of silverware, the Capital One Cup, in his debut season managing in England.
The managers were also impresses by the Swans' tiki-taka style of play.
Gerard Houllier, former Liverpool and Aston Villa manager, said: "At the beginning of the season many wondered whether Swansea would be able to maintain their impressive start to Barclays Premier League life, but Michael Laudrup has come in, managed to sustain their Barclays Premier League progress and recently won the League Cup.
