Celtic need a miracle: A look at the clubs who clutched victory from the jaws of defeat
CELTIC will need to pull off a miracle if they are to overturn their 3-0 first-leg deficit against Juventus tonight.
Sometimes, however, the impossible is possible.
We look at five of football's greatest comeback that Neil Lennon's side can take heart from.
Liverpool 3 AC Milan 3 (Champions League final, Istanbul, 2005)
AC Milan tore Liverpool apart during the first half at the Ataturk Stadium.
Paulo Maldini scored after a minute and an unplayable Hernan Crespo netted two more as Milan went in at half-time 3-0 up.
But three Liverpool goals in six minutes courtesy of Steven Gerrard, Vladimir Smicer and Xabi Alonso brought Rafael Benitez's men level and they went on to win 3-2 on penalties.
Manchester United 2 Bayern Munich 1 (European Cup final, Nou Camp, 1999)
Mario Basler struck with a sixth-minute free-kick to give Bayern Munich the lead - one they held at the moment the fourth official indicated there would be three minutes of stoppage time.
But Manchester United broke German hearts as Teddy Sheringham bagged an equaliser on 91 minutes and Ole Gunnar Soskjaer tucked in the winner on 93 to seal the most dramatic of victories.
Reading 5 Arsenal 7 (League Cup, Madejski Stadium, 2012)
Defensive purists would have been having kittens as Arsenal came back from 4-0 down to force extra-time against Reading.
Laurent Koscielny and Theo Walcott scored on 89 and 90 minutes to make it 4-4 before Marouane Chamakh gave the Gunners the lead in the extra half-hour.
Pavel Pogrebnyak levelled but Walcott completed his hat-trick and Chamakh scored again to cap of a scintillating Arsenal win.
Tottenham Hotspur 3 Manchester United 5 (Premier League, White Hart Lane, 2001)
Dean Richards, Les Ferdinand and Christian Ziege scored first-half goals to put Tottenham Hotspur fans in dreamland as they led champions Manchester United 3-0 at the break.
But Sir Alex Ferguson's men tore Spurs apart in the second half with Andy Cole, Laurent Blanc, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Juan Sebastien Veron and David Beckham scoring to pull off a stunning comeback.
