Hunt on for Michael Laudrup’s successor
SWANSEA CITY admit they are preparing for life without their in-demand manager Michael Laudrup.
The Dane, 48, has 16 months remaining on his contract with the Capital One Cup holders.
We always do that process of looking for the next manager. It never changes.
But Swans chairman Huw Jenkins accepts Laudrup is unlikely to still be working in south Wales beyond the end of the 2013/14 campaign. He says the job of finding his successor has already begun.
Jenkins said: “We always do that process of looking for the next manager. It never changes.
“We always look at different teams and how they play, different managers and if they have the right backgrounds to suit us.
“It’s part of our job.”
