Jonathan De Guzman on the Swansea penalty spot for Michael Laudrup
JONATHAN DE GUZMAN will continue to take the penalties for Swansea.
If Jonathan is on the pitch he will take the penalty.
The Dutchman refused to hand the ball to Nathan Dyer after being fouled by Bradford keeper Matt Duke and converted the spot-kick during the 5-0 Capital One Cup final triumph last Sunday.
Dyer was desperate to complete a unique Wembley hat-trick – the first in a League Cup final, but Swansea boss Michael Laudrup said: “If Jonathan is on the pitch he will take the penalty.”
