Testing times for Swansea after drug checks
SWANSEA’S plans for Sunday’s Capital One Cup final have been disrupted by drug-testers.
Half-a-dozen of their first team, including Michu and Leon Britton, had to give urine samples, delaying their appearance before the media at the Liberty Stadium.
A frustrated Swansea official said: “The club fully supports the drug-testing procedure, but the timing could have been much better.”

Victory for Swansea against Bradford would seal their first major trophy and increase the stock of manager Michael Laudrup, who is in talks over a one-year contract extension.
Laudrup said, however: “My contract is not important and is secondary right now.”
Swansea have ruled out Chico Flores after an ankle injury, with Garry Monk and Kyle Bartley vying for his spot at centre-back.
