Arsenal shot stopper Vito Mannone contemplates Italy return
ARSENAL goalkeeper Vito Mannone is considering whether to move back to Italy to further his career.
Mannone has been an understudy to Wojciech Szczesny for the most part of the season as he has failed to stake a claim for the No1 gloves.
Manager Arsene Wenger is looking at other goalkeeping alternatives including Barcelona's Victor Valdes and Liverpool's Pepe Reina.
And Mannone believes he could leave the Gunners in the summer.
He told Italian football site Mediaset Premium: "Future in Italy? I had a long experience here, now I'm open to everything.

"If you do not play in June are willing to go back to Italy or to try a new adventure in England. The important thing is to play."
Mannone was loaned out to Hull last season to give him more game time.
He last kept goal for the Gunners in their 3-3 draw against Fulham in the Premier League back in November.
