No toil for Bradford City star Nathan Doyle
NATHAN DOYLE has revealed the secret behind Bradford’s remarkable success at penalty shoot-outs – they do not bother to practice.
The Bantams midfielder took spot-kicks in the shoot-out wins over Wigan and Arsenal en route to Sunday’s Capital One Cup final at Wembley.
Phil Parkinson’s side have now won a record nine shoot-outs in a row, breaking Liverpool’s mark of seven achieved from 1995 to 2007.
Doyle said: “Our secret is not practising. If the lads take one after training, it’s up to them.”
