Brighton snap up Plymouth keeper Christian Walton
BRIGHTON have finalised a long-term contract for Plymouth keeper Christian Walton.
Walton has been on the radar of a number of clubs, but Brighton made the first move and have got their man.
The 17-year-old will continue his apprentice before signing a professional contract in the summer.
Goalkeeeping coach Andy Beasley is delighted with the news.

He said: "I'm delighted to get him signed up. The scouting system did a great job in highlighting him so I went to watch him and straight away I was impressed by him.
"Bringing players in like Christian gives you that bit of excitement and you want to see him grow. He's very level headed and I'm looking forward to seeing him flourish."
Walton added: "It's a great opportunity for me. I just want to knuckle down, work hard and hopefully one day I will break into the first-team squad."
Walton is yet to make an appearance for Plymouth.
