Birmingham 2 - Nottingham Forest 1: Chris Burke haunts Alex McLeish
ALEX McLEISH endured a painful return to old club, where he was booed and saw his Forest team beaten by the man he tried to sign.
Chris Burke’s goals either side of half-time gave the Blues three vital points.
Forest now have just one league win in six, while Lee Clark’s team are now six points above the drop zone after their first home win since November. Billy Sharp’s goal from the spot in stoppage time was a small consolation for Forest manager McLeish.
Some fans had a go at the ginger hair, but we gingers will rule the world one day
Clark said: “It was a good win for us. I’m pleased for Chris Burke. It shows we were right to turn down what wasn’t the biggest of bids.”
