Nottingham Forest move closer to clinching Darius Henderson deal
NOTTINGHAM FOREST are edging closer to completing a move for Millwall striker Darius Henderson.
Manager Alex McLeish has targeted some new faces he would like to bring in, including Birmingham’s Chris Burke, whom he worked with during their time together at Rangers.
Millwall have already signed Nathan Tyson to boost their attacking options.
But letting Henderson go could ease the Lions’ financial situation, as he is the top earner at the club.
The Nottingham Post reports Millwall manager Kenny Jackett is willing to let Henderson move on.
They also note that McLeish is pursuing his interest in Andrija Delibasic, the Rayo Vallecano front-man.
Henderson has netted seven times in the Championship this season.
Forest are 10th in the Championship, five points off the play-off spots.
