Nottingham Forest 2 - Oldham 3: Fans jeer sorry Forest
ROBBIE SIMPSON was Oldham’s hero as they claimed an FA Cup scalp in a dramatic turnabout.
The forward, who had only scored once this season, netted twice in four minutes after Forest had led through Matt Smith’s own goal.
To add to Forest’s misery skipper Danny Collins was then sent off for hurling down Smith and Jose Baxter powered home the resulting free-kick. Oldham played like a side possessed after the break with Simpson netting his double and Baxter blasting home.
I don’t think you can print what I said to them at half time
Sub Billy Sharp volleyed a Forest consolation deep in stoppage time.
Oldham boss Paul Dickov said: “I’d like Manchester City in the next round. I don’t think you can print what I said to them at half time!”
