Wolves 1 - Nottingham Forest 2: Wolves ignore Adlene Guedioura warning
WOLVES’ out-of-favour defender Jody Craddock warned his team-mates to beware of Adlene Guedioura’s long-distance blockbusters.
And he was absolutely spot on as the Algerian midfielder, who spent two and a half years with Wanderers, sealed Forest’s first Molineux win for more than 30 years.
Guedioura picked up the ball just inside the Wolves half on 57 minutes his unstoppable 25-yarder flew past keeper Carl Ikeme.
Bjorn Sigurdarson had given Wolves a fifth-minute lead before Billy Sharp hit Forest’s 16th-minute equaliser.
Striker Simon Cox, on loan at Forest from West Brom, was carried off on 65 minutes and is in hospital with a suspected broken ankle.
