Leicester 2 - Nottingham Forest 2: Nigel Perason's penalty fury
LEICESTER boss Nigel Pearson blasted referee Anthony Taylor after seeing his side denied victory.
Pearson was seething after Simon Cox’s 67th-minute penalty gave Forest a point after Zak Whitbread had appeared to produce a fair challenge on Billy Sharp.
He said: “If the referee has not got the guts or his assistant can’t see it he should be accountable. We could have won but that opportunity has been taken away by people who can’t do their jobs properly.”
Even Forest boss Sean O’Driscoll admitted: “I don’t think it was a penalty if I’m honest.”
Elliott Ward’s own goal put the Foxes ahead before Adlene Guedioura levelled. Dave Nugent restored Leicester’s lead ... then the referee left them stewing.
