Doncaster 0 - West Ham 1: Nolans Hammer blow cheers Sam Alladyce
KEVIN NOLAN picked a perfect time to claim his first West Ham goal and earn their first away win since February.
The midfielder, a £3million summer signing from Newcastle, struck in the fifth minute to give his side the spoils at the Keepmoat.
Jack Collison swept over a deep cross from the right and it looked to be too long until Nolan stretched superbly to send a left-foot finish past the stunned Gary Woods.
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce said: “This result showed we can dig in and win a game. The players showed a great appetite.”
