Chelsea proved their determination as they came back to beat West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns, final score 1-3.
Wigan Athletic beat Blackpool with a 3-1 finish, after making a good start with an early lead.
Everton were winners against Blackburn Rovers today after taking the lead on 54 minutes after a corner from Magaye Gueye to Lean Osman. Leighton Baines' penalty gave them the edge just 15 minutes from time. Final score 2-0.
Birmingham City also celebrated success with a 2-0 victory over Sunderland. Sebastian Larsson gave his team the lead after 40 minutes on the pitch. Alexander Hleb then went on to make a second goal for Craig Gardner.
