Ipswich 3 Middlesbrough 3
IPSWICH 3 -- MIDDLESBROUGH 3
SUBSTITUTE Andy Halliday masterminded an impressive comeback for Middlesbrough before Ipswich rewarded their fans with one of their own as it ended all-square at Portman Road.
It took Town just six minutes to take the lead through Grant Leadbitter, who saw his long-range effort take a deflection off team-mate Gareth McAuley.
Boro manager Tony Mowbray was forced to withdraw Merouane Zemmama and Seb Hines through injury but the visitors turned the game on its head just before half-time, with Andy Halliday netting on the rebound after Damien Delaney sliced on to his own crossbar.
A minute later Boro were ahead when the cool-headed Halliday set up the Scott McDonald for an easy finish. Halliday then set up Andrew Taylor for a long-range effort that gave goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett no chance.

But Ipswich rallied and Connor Wickham headed home a Jimmy Bullard free-kick to bring the hosts within a goal before Matthew Bates tripped Lee Martin in the area, allowing Leadbitter to level from the spot.
