Ayden Heaven offers fresh injury update as Man Utd star posts 21-word statement
Ayden Heaven was stretchered off during Manchester United's win over Leicester City.
Ayden Heaven has offered an encouraging update on the injury which forced him off during Manchester United's recent win over Leicester City. The former Arsenal starlet, who has impressed since joining the Red Devils in January, was carried away on a stretcher in the early stages of the second half. It followed a collision with Leicester forward Patson Daka, which left Heaven rolling around in agony.
He was treated on the pitch for around five minutes, with Sky Sports cameras opting not to show any replays of the incident. The potentially serious nature of Heaven's injury has led to speculation that he could be out for an extended period of time. However, an update issued by the teenager on Instagram suggests that he could return quicker than anticipated.

On his story, Heaven addressed his followers with a 21-word statement, which read: "Thank you guys for all the support! I have read all your messages and I'm doing really well and recovering fast."
The young defender was spotted leaving the King Power Stadium wearing a protective boot, although he was not using crutches or receiving any help. It remains to be seen how long he will be ruled out for, with United yet to determine the severity of the problem.
Ruben Amorim was left feeling sorry for Heaven after the final whistle against Leicester, revealing that he was struggling to explain how bad the pain was while receiving treatment on the pitch.
Asked for an update, the United boss said: "I don’t know. It’s sad. He’s a young kid who doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling, so it’s hard for us to know something. He’s a bit a little bit more calm now, but we have to assess during the week.

"We will see next week. It’s hard to understand because, even when he’s on the ground, he can’t speak, he doesn’t know how to explain what he’s feeling because he’s so young. It’s hard to understand what he’s feeling.
"Today was the most difficult game for him because he played so well against Real Sociedad, and we expect always for these young kids to relax a little bit, but he was so focused and he played quite well. Let’s hope for the best.
"It was clear today my players are at the limit. We are going to use this [international break] window to rest and recover. It will be good. The feeling is completely different. When we return, it will be like starting from scratch."
Heaven has played in two Premier League games for the Red Devils this season, with the Leicester fixture marking his first league start. It came just three days after he got through the full 90 minutes of United's victory over Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
