Scotland fans are reeling today after watching their side get torn apart on the opening night at Euro 2024. Germany ran riot as goals from Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala, Kai Havertz, Niclas Fullkrug and Emre Can gave the hosts the perfect start, with Antonio Rudiger's late own goal proving scant consolation for Steve Clarke's side.
England's injury fears have been eased after having a full complement in training for their first match of the tournament against Serbia on Sunday evening. And Gareth Southgate will take the step of calling substitutes 'finishers' in the tournament, to underline the importance of the whole squad.
There are three more tournament games today. It's Hungary v Switzerland (2pm) and Spain v Croatia (5pm), before champions Italy face Albania (8pm).
The final few moments of Italy vs Albania have been stopped after a pitch invader stormed the pitch.
Loud boos rang around a nervous stadium, with Italy hoping to hold on and claim a vital three points.
BBC co-commentator Jermaine Jenas was far from happy with the disturbance and called for "specialised stewards" to curb further fans from entering the pitch.
Gareth Southgate has confirmed that Jude Bellingham will be part of his leadership group for Euro 2024.
Bellingham has shown immense maturity since moving to Real Madrid and while his status as a leader on the pitch has never been in doubt, that has been reflected behind the scenes.
“There are a lot of younger players and I want to make sure I am in touch with the voices of the younger players as well,” the England manager said. “I don’t want to leave here with any stone unturned.

Albania have shocked Italy to make the perfect start to their Euro 2024 campaign!
After just 20 seconds Nedim Bajrami found some space inside the Italian box following a mistake from Federico Dimarco and he fired a rocket into the roof of Gianluigi Donnarumma's goal.
A spokesperson said on Saturday morning: "Firearms were used. The perpetrator died in hospital.”
Nancy Faeser, the German interior minister, added: “We are arming ourselves against all conceivable dangers with the maximum commitment of the security authorities.
"Our focus ranges from the threat of Islamist terror to hooligans and cyber attacks. The Federal Police will protect Germany’s borders, airports and rail traffic.”
A very strong start from Spain as they kicked off their Euro 2024 campaign with a strong 3-0 win over Croatia.
A win was vital with Italy still to come in Group B, dubbed the 'Group of death', but goals from Alvaro Morata, Fabian Ruiz and Dani Carvajal sealed the three points.
Croatia thought they had cut their deficit, even though Unai Simon saved Bruno Petkovic's spot-kick.
Ex-Tottenham star Ivan Perisic leapt on the rebound and cut the ball across for Petkovic to tap home, but Perisic was adjudged to have encroached and been inside the box when the penalty was taken.
Italy fans with paper bombs stopped by police before Albania clash
A group of approximately 50 Italian fans have reportedly been stopped by German police after they were in possession of knives, paper bombs and balaclavas.
Rai News claim that the supporters were blocked from coming into contact with Albanian fans in front of a restaurant.
They are now being held in police offices, awaiting a decision from the judiciary.

Scotland manager Steve Clarke dismissed suggestions he’d fallen out with one of his coaching staff despite a heated touchline row during the Germany defeat.
Clarke was seen rowing with coach Austin MacPhee, but was frosty when asked about it in his post-match press conference.
“Is that a serious question?" Clarke replied. "Yeah we’re fine. I don’t even remember it. We’re fine. It’s emotional on the touchline.”
The FA has urged England fans to be 'great guests' during Euro 2024.
After the notorious '10 German Bombers' song was chanted during a warm-up friendly, Germany's police chief has already asked supporters not to be 'd***s' at this summer's tournament.
The FA have told Express Sport: "We always encourage our fans to positively get behind the team. This includes supporting England in the right way, before, during and after matches, and we want to be great guests at the tournament."
England have paid tribute to Kevin Campbell after it was confirmed this morning the striker has died, aged 54.
Campbell represented the Three Lions at under 21 and B team level, and in a statement the FA wrote: "We are devastated to learn that Kevin Campbell has passed away aged 54. Kevin won four caps for our under-21s and represented our B team in the early 1990s. Our thoughts are with Kevin's family, friends and loved ones."
Alan Shearer thinks the 'arrogance' of Jude Bellingham is a positive thing ahead of England's Euro 2024 opener with Serbia.
"He's phenomenal" Shearer told Betfair. "You can't be anything but hugely impressed because of his stature.
"He's got an arrogance in a good way, I'm not saying that in a disrespectful way, to be a top player you need to have that something about you and he has got that.
“We knew he was a great talent, but the way he has gone into the biggest club in the world and taken it on as if it's just a walk in the park, it's phenomenal."
Millwall and Montenegro goalkeeper Matija Sarkic has died at the age of 26. While on international duty, he reportedly fell ill in the town of Budva and was confirmed dead around 6.30am local time.
Just 10 days ago, he was man of the match in his country's game against Belgium, which the visitors won 2-0 in their final Euro 2024 warm-up game.
Teddy Sheringham has made three changes from England's warm-up defeat against Iceland in his preferred team to face Serbia tomorrow.
The Manchester United icon wants Jordan Pickford, Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka to replace Aaron Ramsdale, Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer.
"I think the team picks itself up front - most of it. Harry Kane would be in the lead role, Saka on the right," Sheringham told Express Sport on behalf of TG Casino.
"And then I'd have Declan Rice in the midfield with Bellingham and Foden ahead of him. That would probably allow a bit of pace out wide.
"I would go for Anthony Gordon just to give you a bit of pace and balance down the left side.
"Walker right-back, Stones, it looks like Guehi will be the other centre-half, but I've not seen enough of him to comment on whether he's England class or not.
"And then if Shaw's not fit, you're going to go for Trippier. I can't believe we can't find another left-footed left-back in the country. It makes it a little bit disjointed, especially with Harry Maguire out of the equation.
"I bet Chilwell's very, very disappointed not to be going when you can have 26 players going to the Euros."
Roy Keane has laid into Scotland skipepr Andy Robertson after he admitted his side weren't aggressive enough in the first half against Germany.
"Andy Robertson said Scotland weren’t aggressive enough – you have to be aggressive in a game of football," Keane said on ITV.
“When you’re up against opposition who are much stronger than you, being aggressive is part of being a footballer. If you step off like Scotland did tonight – that’s rubbish. It’s just rubbish coming out from Robertson. It’s alright saying you’re going to be angry tomorrow, they should be angry for a long time.”
There was chaos during a Portugal training session on Friday as Cristiano Ronaldo was grabbed by a fan.
The man invaded the training pitch in Leipzig during an open training session. Midway through the session, he jumped over the barriers and sprinted towards 'CR7', before hugging the star.
Ronaldo did allow the fan a photo when he realised there was no danger, but security duly took him away.

Graeme Souness struggled to hide his emotions as he paid tribute former Liverpool team-mate Alan Hansen ahead of Scotland's Euro 2024 defeat to Germany.
Speaking on ITV, Souness said: "He was a real quality performer and as a human being, when people are ill people say they were great guys. I’m telling you, he was a great guy.
"You’d have to search a long, long way to find anyone who’s got a bad word to say about him and that takes some doing. His chat and banter was top-class, he was a pleasure to be around. He’s in the fight of his life right now and we should all say a little prayer to him."
Welcome to our live coverage of Euro 2024! Scottish fans may be suffering a hangover today - and not because of a late night.
