Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher agree after Man Utd's Diogo Dalot sent off in Prem first
Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot was controversially sent off as the Red Devils drew away to Liverpool on Sunday.

Sky Sports commentators Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher both felt that Diogo Dalot's red card against Liverpool was "harsh". The Portuguese defender was handed two yellow cards in the space of seconds for dissent by Michael Oliver - a Premier League first.
Neville and Carragher were both puzzled by the decision to send Manchester United right-back Dalot off in the final minutes of stoppage time. The former United defender asked: "What does dissent twice even mean? How do you break up one rant into two bookings?"
Carragher then replied: "Has he given it for dissent twice? That seems incredibly harsh for me," before Neville then added: "Well… is that even a red card?"
The 10-men of United were able to hold on and claim an impressive point away to Liverpool, having kept the likes of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez at bay despite an injury crisis at the back.
As United were determined to hold on, Dalot was visibly frustrated that a throw-in went against him in the final few moments of stoppage time. His tempers then began to boil over and complaints to the referee earned Dalot two bookings, the first time a player has been sent off in the league for two dissent offences in such quick succession.
Dalot had busted a gut to get back and prevent Salah from getting through on goal, forcing the ball out for a throw which he felt last came off the Liverpool forward.

However, once the referee pointed in the opposite direction, Dalot flung his arm in frustration at the official which earned him his first yellow card.
He then continued to have a few choice words for Oliver and only seconds after picking up his first caution, a second followed and Dalot was surprisingly given his marching orders.
Erik ten Hag will now have to make do without another key player, as Dalot is set to serve a suspension for the upcoming trip to West Ham on Saturday.
