Arsenal could do six deals before 11pm as ex-Man City star eyed in audacious swoop
Arsenal and their Premier League rivals have until 11pm to finalise their summer transfer business.
Arsenal could complete six deals before tonight's 11pm transfer deadline. Mikel Arteta and Edu have a clear plan heading into the final day of the summer window, with exits set to be high on the agenda.
Arsenal have made four signings so far in this window, splashing out around £210million. The last permanent addition Arteta made was the club-record deal for Declan Rice on July 15.
There is a good possibility that there will be no further incomings at the Emirates. That is despite the Gunners exploring opportunities to replace the injured Jurrien Timber.
Outgoings are almost certain, however, and several players that Arteta views as dispensable could be heading for the exit door. Express Sport looks at one incoming Arsenal could make as well as the five players who may be on their way.
Incoming
Eric Garcia
Barcelona star Garcia has again been linked with a move to Arsenal. The defender has been rumoured to be a target in previous transfer windows.
He would add further depth in defensive areas and is a player Arteta knows from his time at Manchester City. Whether Barcelona would be open to a late move remains to be seen.
Outgoings
Rob Holding
Holding has been linked with a move to Spanish sides Sevilla and Real Mallorca. He has not been in a Premier League match-day squad so far this season.
Luton boss Rob Edwards revealed on Thursday that he is not interested in Holding despite rumours. However, it is likely the defender will get a move of some kind.

Nuno Tavares
Tavaes is the closest player to the exit door. He has an agreement in place to join Nottingham Forest on loan.
Forest will need to get a deal done by 12pm in order for Tavares to be available to play Chelsea on Saturday. The 23-year-old spent last season at Marseille.
Cedric Soares
Interest in Cedric has gone quiet in recent weeks. The right-back has been training away from the Arsenal first team of late.
He is in the final year of his contract with the Gunners. Arsenal will be hoping to get his wages off the books by 11pm.
Nicolas Pepe
Pepe was back at Arsenal's training ground last week but doesn't appear to be in Arteta's plans. The Ivory Coast star has been short of interest after a disappointing loan spell at Nice.
Pepe lost his tag as Arsenal's record signing when Rice joined last month. The Gunners are struggling to find a buyer and may have to terminate his contract to facilitate an exit.
Albert Sambi Lokonga
Lokonga held talks with Burnley earlier in the window, with Vincent Kompany knowing the player from Anderlecht. However, talks fell through over personal terms.
Brighton have been also linked with the 23-year-old midfielder. A late loan move may be likely.
