Transfer news: Man Utd Amrabat boost, Chelsea £50m deal blocked, Arsenal double exit
Premier League clubs have less than a week remaining to tie up their summer transfer business.
Arteta says he believes Saudi transfer window should end when Europe window ends
There is now less than a week remaining for Premier League clubs to get their final pieces of transfer business over the line. The summer window shuts next Friday and there are sure to be plenty of twists and turns along the way.
Arsenal are set to be busy, with a host of players likely to leave the club. Mikel Arteta is still open to adding new players to his squad but knows he must make room first.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino confirmed after Friday's win over Luton that he still wants to sign two more players. Manchester United, meanwhile, are in a similar position to Arsenal where they likely have to sell before bringing any new faces in.
Tottenham are looking at potential replacements for Harry Kane following his move to Bayern Munich. Liverpool are also exploring opportunities to further reinforce their midfield after a complete overhaul in this window.

Lukaku talks Roma move
Chelsea flop Romelu Lukaku has spoken of his potential move to Roma to link up with former boss Jose Mourinho once again.
The Blues were forced to consider loaning Lukaku out after failing to find a suitor willing to take him on permanently.
Speaking to Het Laatste Nieuws ahead of his son's match in a youth tournament, he said: "I’m nervous [about his son’s debut], I’m going to Rome tomorrow to sign."
Lukaku is suggesting that an exit from Chelsea is close to completion, as he hopes to find form once again in Rome.
Everton agree striker deal
Everton have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Udinese striker Beto for a fee between £25-30million.
The Toffees are yet to score a goal so far this season but according to Fabrizio Romano, Beto is set to join after a fee was agreed upon between the two clubs.
He will next head to Goodison to complete a medical ahead of what could be a very important signing for Everton.
Chelsea announcement tonight
Chelsea are set to complete the signing of New England Revolution goalkeeper Djorde Petrovic and announce his signing tonight.
That's according to Sky Sports, who claim that he will move to Stamford Bridge for £14million after Kepa left to join Real Madrid on loan.
He is expected to come in as an understudy to Robert Sanchez, who has started each of Chelsea's opening three Premier League games so far this season.

Tierney closes on exit
Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney has touched down in Spain ahead of his loan move to Real Sociedad.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that the Scottish left-back flew to Spain today to put the final touches on his temporary exit.
There is no option for the La Liga side to buy Tierney outright in the deal, though they will be covering the entirety of his wages for the season.
Folarin Balogun is also expected to depart in the coming days, after Arsenal agreed a £34million fee with Monaco for the young striker.
United double exit
Manchester United may be on the verge of letting two players leave the club, as Dean Henderson is nearing a move to Crystal Palace.
The Eagles' transfer chief Dougie Freedman was in attendance during today's win over Nottingham Forest after a deal was agreed to sign the goalkeeper.
While Hannibal Mejbri once again was not named in the squad and without featuring for the Under-21s on the same day, he could be nearing a loan exit.
Amrabat not in Fiorentina squad
Sofyan Amrabat will not be in Fiorentina's squad this weekend.
The Serie A side host Lecce on Sunday evening in the second game of the season.
Amrabat was an unused substitute for the 4-1 win at Genoa last weekend.
However, Fabrizio Romano says he will not feature at all on Sunday as he holds out for a move to Manchester United.

Ten Hag 'obssesed' by Bayindir
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is said to be 'obsessed' with signing Altay Bayindir.
The Red Devils are set to complete a deal for the Fenerbahce goalkeeper in the coming days.
Turkish outlet Fanatik says Bayindir is excellent with the ball at his feet, an attribute Ten Hag demands from his goalkeepers.
Ten Hag believes Bayindir is the right profile of keeper to provide back-up to Andre Onana at Old Trafford.
Coutinho agrees Saudi terms
Philippe Coutinho has agreed terms on a move to Saudi Pro League club Al-Duhail.
But Fabrizio Romano says Aston Villa are yet to green light an exit for the former Liverpool star.
Coutinho was forced off with a hamstring injury in Villa's 4-0 win over Everton last weekend.
That has not put Al-Duhail off from doing a deal.
Man Utd 'push' for signing
Manchester United are insisting on the signing of Sofyan Amrabat, reports claim.
Amrabat, who is also a target for Liverpool, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for several weeks.
GianlucaDiMarzio.com claims United want to wrap up a deal for the midfielder soon.
Fiorentina are willing to sell the Morocco star before Friday's deadline.
Arteta player meeting
Mikel Arteta held a meeting with Gabriel this week to tell him he won't be leaving.
The defender hasn't started either of the first two games of the season and has been linked with an exit.
Arteta said: "Of course I have explained to him why he’s not in the team - especially someone who has played a lot of minutes and games with us in the last year.
“I told him. He understands the reasons. Whether he agrees with it is something different. But the best way to do it is when you play, just tell me how blind and wrong I am."
Bayern make Chalobah progress
Bayern Munich have made progress over a deal for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
GianlucaDiMarzio.com claims Chalobah is a concrete target for Bayern in the final week of the window.
Progress was made on Friday regarding a potential move to the Allianz Arena.
Chalobah's arrival at Bayern would allow Benjamin Pavard to complete a switch to Inter Milan.
Lukaku bid today
Roma will make a bid to take Romelu Lukaku on loan today.
Fabrizio Romano says Roma chiefs are in London to hold direct talks with Chelsea.
Chelsea want to receive a loan fee and for Roma to cover all of Lukaku's wages during his spell at the club.
The striker has been training away from the first team at the Blues training ground.
Spurs Kane replacement
Tottenham are interested in signing Jonathan David as a replacement for Harry Kane.
CBS Sports, via Last Word on Spurs, claims the Canada international is keen on a move to north London.
Spurs are said to have shown an interest in David during the latter stages of Antonio Conte's reign.
The Lille forward could cost between £50m and £55m.
Chelsea £50m move blocked
Chelsea staff have been trying to block Conor Gallagher's exit this summer.
The Mail claims academy coaches have been pushing for Gallagher to stay after a number of graduates left earlier in the window.
Gallagher has been linked with a move to the likes of Tottenham and Crystal Palace.
Chelsea value the midfielder at £50m but he now looks set to stay after starting the first three games of the season.
£34m Arsenal deal
Arsenal have agreed a deal with Monaco for striker Folarin Balogun.
Fabrizio Romano says the Gunners will receive a fee of up to £34m including add-ons.
Arsenal are set to retain a 'significant' sell-on clause for the forward's next move.
Balogun will undergo a medical this weekend before signing a long-term contract.
