Man Utd transfer news LIVE: Jean-Clear Todibo is wanted to replace Harry Maguire (Image: GETTY)
Erik ten Hag has completed the crux of his summer transfer business but Manchester United are still in the market for further signings. The arrival of Rasmus Hojlund takes their spending to a whopping £179million and the £200m could yet be shattered for the second successive year if the Dutchman continues to actively push for more new arrivals.
There are still three areas of the squad that Ten Hag would be open to improve at the right price.
He would like another defensive midfielder to ease the workload on Casemiro while another centre-back and goalkeeper could be targeted subject to departures.
Meanwhile, a cluster of player sales are also on the agenda as the Old Trafford hierarchy seek to maximise Ten Hag's spending power.

Gary Neville admits he's concerned about Manchester United relying on Rasmus Hojlund for goals this season.
The 20-year-old joined in a £72m deal from Atalanta last week but has a relatively unproven track record at the highest level.
And Neville believes Erik ten Hag needs another striker of Harry Kane's ilk to ensure he isn't short on attacking firepower again.
He told The Fan Debate: "I'm worried that we've got this kid [Hojlund] up front that, to be fair, has massive pressure on his shoulders.
"Everyone's going to be watching him. He needs that pressure taken off him a bit. Kane puts United into that sort of realm of catching Arsenal and [Manchester] City.
"[Marcus] Rashford doesn't like playing down the middle, I spoke to him a few weeks ago, and he was categoric that he plays off the left. He wants to play off the left."
French football expert Jonathan Johnson thinks Jean-Clair Todibo is the perfect signing for Man Utd.
He said: "There have been European giants looking at Todibo, not just clubs in the Premier League like Man Utd, but also Juventus," he told Sky Sports News.
"He burst onto the scene quite young with Toulouse but has bounced around since he moved to Barcelona.
"He's made a home for himself at Nice over the last couple of years and paired well with William Saliba for a brief time. He's got into the reckoning to break into the French senior set up in the next couple of years.
"So it's not a surprise that big clubs are sitting up and taking notice of him. Given the fact that Nice don't have European football this season it is a really good opportunity to get a player, who is, in my opinion, Premier League ready."
Wout Weghorst has bid farewell to Manchester United's supporters and thanked them for his time at the club.
The Dutchman is now back at Burnley following his six-month spell at Old Trafford.
He said: "Dear Man Utd fans, thanks for everything. I really enjoyed every single second at this club. From winning silverware, to scoring my first goal against Betis.
"Dreams came true, unbelievably proud to wear the badge. I wish you all the best for the future."
The Athletic are reporting that Manchester United have made a joint double bid worth £60m for Harry Maguire and Scott McTominay.
Other outlets are reporting that the bids are separate and worth a similar value and will be negotiated separately.
But crucially, it's believed both proposals are closer towards what United would actually accept for both meaning we could see movement.
United have already had a £20m offer rejected for Harry Maguire earlier in the window but now they are hopeful of moving the defender on despite his initial reluctance to join West Ham.
Maguire was booed at Old Trafford on Sunday after making a mistake against Athletic Club which led to a goal.
The Independent are reporting that Sofyan Amrabat and Jean-Clair Todibo are at the top of Manchester United's shortlist.
United's interest in Amrabat is well documented as Ten Hag plots a reunion with his former FC Utrecht player.
Fiorentina are ready to sell the Moroccan as he only has one year remaining on his current deal and he was left out of the squad that faced Newcastle and Nice on Tyneside this weekend.
Todibo can also leave Nice at the right price but there has also been interest from the likes of Newcastle throughout the transfer window despite the fact nothing appears to be imminent.
The Frenchman's arrival is likely to be linked to the future of Harry Maguire.
