Man Utd striker Mason Greenwood sports new look with Erik ten Hag ‘against sale’
Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood could still be given a lifeline at Old Trafford because of manager Erik ten Hag.
Attempted rape charge against Manchester United footballer Mason Greenwood dropped
Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood has shaved his head ahead of a potential return to action. The England international has been training with a private coach as he looks to resume his career. It emerged last week that Erik ten Hag was against selling the 21-year-old, who hasn’t played for the club in over a year.
Last week, images of Greenwood showed the United star sporting a longer hairstyle than he’d previously had.
But The Sun have now shared pictures of the England international with a shaved head, with the forward looking significantly neater.
Greenwood had his arms behind his back as he was put through his paces by a private coach.
And he also had a smile on his face as he stared directly into the camera.
Greenwood last played for United back in January 2022, in a 1-0 victory over West Ham with Marcus Rashford scoring the winner that day.

Man Utd set maximum price they’ll pay for Rasmus Hojlund with two bids rejected so far
Manchester United are willing to pay a maximum fee of £51.5million to sign Rasmus Hojlund this summer, according to reports. The Atalanta star is being pursued at a time when Harry Kane has been deemed too expensive.
He’s now free to play football again after charges were dropped against him in February.
United previously confirmed they were launching their own investigation into Greenwood.
And, just last week, it emerged the England international could still be given a second chance.
It was claimed Ten Hag is against selling the 21-year-old, who has scored 35 goals from 129 appearances for the club.
That means Greenwood could leave on loan, with teams from Italy apparently showing interest.

Jose Mourinho has apparently reached out to the United forward and confirmed his interest in a temporary deal at Roma.
What ultimately happens with Greenwood remains to be seen, however, with the Red Devils yet to indicate their preferred course of action.
Whatever happens, United are hoping to sign a new striker.
Harry Kane is their dream target, though Tottenham have made it clear they’re reluctant to lose their talisman to a direct rival.
United also admire Victor Osimhen, yet Napoli would want over £100million to consider letting the Nigeria international go.
Rasmus Hojlund is another player under consideration after shining for Atalanta last season.
But they, too, want big money to let the Denmark international depart.
Goncalo Ramos and Dusan Vlahovic, of Benfica and Juventus respectively, have also been linked.
Meanwhile, a source told The Sun recently that Greenwood was determined to play football again and wanted a resolution to his situation.
“He firmly believes he is an innocent man and is very frustrated he’s not been able to play,” said the insider.
“He understands that the club have had to carry out an investigation, but he feels like his career is slipping by.
“He and his team have made clear to United that they now want to know what is happening.
“They have basically said, ‘sack him or back him’.
“If they want to reintegrate him, then do so. If they want to sell him, then tell him.
“And if they want to loan him out, then tell them so his team can find the best club for him.”
