Manchester United have condemned Brandon Williams' social media behaviour after Manchester City lifted the Champions League on Saturday. In a string of Instagram posts, the Red Devils defender aimed fire at City and Old Trafford legend Rio Ferdinand.
One of United supporters' worst nightmares was realised when Pep Guardiola guided City to their first Champions League crown in Istanbul.
Rodri's second-half strike sealed a 1-0 win against Inter Milan, making City just the second English club to complete the treble after United's historic 1999 feat.
After full-time, Williams, who was on holiday during the off-season, took to his Instagram story to rant about the Citizens' success.
"Nobody wants sloppy seconds [devil emojis]," the 22-year-old wrote, referencing that United will always be the first English club to achieve the treble.
He also blasted Ferdinand, who congratulated Guardiola and his City players on-air on pundit duty for BT Sport.

Williams said: "Bet you wouldn't congratulate if you [were a] player. Keep the same morals. [Two] face are boring. You don't praise, simple as. Fakes for [money emojis]."
According to ESPN, United have distanced themselves from Williams' emotional outburst after City continued their reign of dominance.
The report claims his comments are "not welcome" at Old Trafford ahead of his expected departure thus summer.
Williams has made 51 appearances since breaking into the first team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2019.

However, Ten Hag handed him just one run out in his maiden campaign as United boss - five minutes in December's 2-0 win against Burnley in the Carabao Cup.
He was on the bench for seven Premier League games but failed to feature once and was also snubbed for the FA Cup final squad.
With Diogo Dalot, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia set to continue as United's full-back options next season, Williams is set to be a part of Ten Hag's summer clear-out.
The academy graduate is one of several players in the shop window as Ten Hag aims to raise funds to bolster his transfer kitty while continuing to mould his squad to his liking.
