Gary Neville slams Jermaine Jenas and Jamie O'Hara with Tottenham 'perspective' message
Ex-Tottenham players have been slammed by Gary Neville for their reaction to recent Spurs performances.
Gary Neville has hit out at former Tottenham players who have criticised the club following Monday's draw at Everton. The Manchester United legend claims "perspective" is needed from the ex-stars who were often lower in the table than the current Spurs side during their spells at the club.
Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park. Michael Keane's stunning late strike secured a point for the Toffees in a game where each side had a player sent off.
After the game, ex-Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas tweeted his disappointment at the performance. He wrote: "I can’t watch this team anymore ffs," followed by an angry-faced emoji.
Jenas' former team-mate Jamie O'Hara has also vented his anger. He stormed out of the talkSPORT studio after claiming he was "done" with the club and "sick of being a Spurs fan".

But Neville has hit back at the likes of Jenas and O'Hara with a tweet of his own. He pointed out how Spurs are still fourth in the table and are at a much higher level than when some former players were pulling on the shirt.
Neville wrote: "Interesting seeing ex-Spurs players that never got near to Champions League places for years when they played for the club saying they can’t watch this current team now. Spurs are in 4th place currently ahead of Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool. Perspective!"
Jenas was at Spurs between 2005 and 2013. The north Londoners finished 9th, 5th, 11th and 8th in his first four seasons at the club.

They did finish fourth in the 2009/10 campaign under Harry Redknapp and Jenas featured in eight Champions League games the season after. But they would be his only appearances in the competition as Spurs didn't qualify for the competition the following campaign and Jenas then went on a couple of loan spells before leaving on a permanent deal to join QPR in January 2013.
Meanwhile, O'Hara never played for Tottenham in the Champions League. He wasn't part of the squad that finished fourth in 2009/10 as he was on loan at Portsmouth.
O'Hara then missed the first half of the 2010/11 season due to injury and signed for Wolves on loan in January. He signed a permanent deal at Molineux at the end of the campaign.
