Carrick says he's yet to speak with incoming Man Utd boss Rangnick
Ralf Rangnick has received his visa to become Manchester United interim manager ahead of Sunday's Premier League game against Crystal Palace. United appointed Rangnick at the start of the week, but delays with his work permit meant he couldn't begin his role in time for Arsenal's visit to Old Trafford on Thursday.

Sky Sports report Rangnick will speak to the media for the first time since becoming United interim manager on Friday.
It will primarily act as a pre-match press conference for Sunday's game against Palace, with the hectic winter fixture schedule leaving little time for turnover.
Considering Patrick Viera's side played on Tuesday, the Eagles will visit Old Trafford well-rested and ready to cause an upset on Rangnick's big day.
The 63-year-old will hope to start his managerial tenure at United positively, though, and the players continuing recent momentum with a win over Arsenal would help him do that.

Rangnick wasn't initially handed a work permit because he hasn't worked as a manager for long enough over the last five years.
After Brexit, any non-UK citizen must obtain a GBE (Governing Body Endorsement) if they want to work in English football.
The FA's Exceptions Panel awarded Rangnick a GBE as he was a candidate of the "highest calibre" who can "contribute significantly to the development of the game at the top level in England."
