Arteta invites Wenger to return to Arsenal in some capacity
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is hoping to turn things around after defeat to Liverpool last week and the match against Newcastle presents a good opportunity to change formation. The Gunners were in the in-form team in the Premier League prior to the 4-0 defeat at Liverpool.

Newcastle may not possess the same firepower as Liverpool, but Eddie Howe's side are desperate for a win and will be looking to take advantage of Arsenal's poor result last week.
In a bid to prevent any possibility of that Liverpool defeat starting a trend, now may be the time for Arteta to change things up.
Martin Odegaard has been overlooked by Arteta with Arsenal playing two up top as he doesn't fit in the system.
But bringing in the playmaker may be a way for Arteta to keep things fresh while also trying out something different in the hope of a rebound from their Liverpool loss.

Aubameyang likely holds on to his position as the central striker while there's no reason to change things on the wing with Smith Rowe and Saka.
But Arteta has indicated in recent weeks that Lacazette will be the man to make way for Odegaard and now may be the time to start with that.
Deploying Odegaard as the No 10 gives their summer signing a great chance to showcase his true talents.
He's so far struggled to make a huge impact having not started in the last four games.
Bringing in Odegaard also relieves some of the pressure on Albert Sambi Lokonga and Thomas Partey and may give Arteta exactly what he wants this afternoon.
