Ramsdale impressed by Arsenal colleagues in big England win
Mikel Arteta has steered his Arsenal boat away from the Premier League depths and towards the hope of a Champions League return this season. The Gunners are making gradual progress in Arteta's rebuild, and the defensive core of his team has, eventually, played a central part.

White, signed for £50million in July, has 'surprised' Arsenal's staff with his leadership qualities.
He has also helped Gabriel settle after a shaky debut season in north London, and the trio have allowed just one goal in their last three league games.
Their form has been crucial in Arsenal's impressive 10-game unbeaten run in all competitions, with the Gunners winning eight of them.

Arteta recently explained that Ramsdale's character was a pivotal reason for sanctioning a £30m deal for him in the summer transfer window.
He said: "Obviously, we needed to identify where we can get better and what we were missing or how we want to mould our experience and our leadership.
"And that is all obviously about personalities and the people you bring into the club, and we thought that Aaron could be very beneficial.
"I watched a lot of clips and moments after he conceded a goal, making a mistake or a difficult moment, and that's one of the big reasons that we made a decision to sign him because he could cope with those.

"Aaron is capable of transmitting that in a natural way. His competitiveness as well, on the pitch, brings the crowd to a different level, because of his desire to win. This is the mentality that we need."
Ramsdale has cemented himself as Arsenal's new number one with his recent performances.
The 23-year-old made his England debut earlier this week in the 10-0 win away at San Marino in 2022 World Cup qualifying.
As long as Ramsdale, White and Gabriel continue developing and maintaining Arsenal's strong core, they will be crucial in Arteta's mission to guide the club back among Europe's elite.
