- N'Golo Kante, Jorginho and Kevin de Bruyne are the three nominees for UEFA Player of the Year
- Barcelona have all three nominations in the Women's Player of the Year with Jennifer Hermoso, Lieke Martens Alexia Putellas
- Thomas Tuchel is up against Pep Guardiola and Roberto Mancini for UEFA Men's Coach of the Year
- More awards will be handed out in the evening, including best player in each position as well as the best in the Europa League

5.12pm: First award of the night is the UEFA President's award and it goes to Simon Kjaer and the doctors and medical staff who helped save Christian Eriksen's life.

Jorginho and N'Golo Kante represent Chelsea while Kevin de Bruyne did enough for Manchester City to warrant his nomination.

Every year, UEFA hands out annual pirzes for the best individual players and coaches in Europe from the previous season.
A jury comprising of 32 coaches of the teams involved in last season's competitions along with 55 journalists from UEFA's member associations decide the vote.
Coaches are forbidden from voting for players from their own clubs.
