Nuno gives verdict on Tottenham's victory at Wolves
If they want to sign Adama Traore this summer, Tottenham Hotspur will have to hand Wolves more than what Liverpool paid for Diogo Jota in 2020. The 25-year-old has emerged as a late transfer target for former manager Nuno Espirito Santo in north London.
Multiple outlets reported on Monday that Tottenham are looking to sign Adama before the August 31 transfer deadline.
He has been in contract talks with Wolves for over a year, but the club are willing to sell if he shows no signs of extending terms before the summer window closes.
Nuno is a big fan of Traore from his time at the club, whilst Spurs managing director Fabio Paratici looked to sign him at Juventus during his Barcelona days.
Though, negotiating the signing may be a tough test for Paratici, with Wolves set to hold out for a substantial fee.

Spurs beat Wolves 1-0 at Molineux on Sunday, courtesy of a first-half Dele Alli penalty.
But Traore was heavily involved and was a prominent player as the hosts dominated large parts of the game.
There should be no doubt whether he would improve Spurs and act as a worthy Gareth Bale replacement.
Since the start of the 2019/20 season, the powerful winger has completed more dribbles (356) and created more open play chances (107) than any Spurs player.
